Swift Cottage
As an owner of two large dogs I was delighted that Pauline's cottage was so well set up to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. It was joyful to wake up to amazing views, spend time with their pet pigs and walk our socks and paws off over the Moor. Great recommendations for dog friendly eateries too. thank you for a wonderful stay. Jo and Hannah.

Swallow Cottage
Beautiful little cottage in such an idyllic area. The views alone are breathtaking. We even had a friendly visit from the farm pigs that are free roaming. The Garden for the dog was completely enclosed and a great outside space. Inside was very clean and with everything you need including fast WiFi, comfortable beds and a lovely shower! Couldn’t fault the space or the host. Incredible stay and can’t wait to come back. Thanks Pauline.

Another amazing & relaxing stay. So peaceful and remote, came home feeling totally chilled. Beautiful views, stunning location with jam & cream scones on arrival! Pauline & Doug are perfect hosts with the friendliest pigs :) My second stay (both in the last month) and most definitely won’t be my last! Croyde, Woolacombe, Ilfracombe, Combe Martin & Saunton Sands all within a 40 min (or less) drive and Lynton & Lynmouth just a 5 min drive. So much to see in do in beautiful North Devon.

Sunset Shepherd Hut
Wonderful peaceful location within Exmoor National Park. No neighbours and able to park right outside of the hut. Beautiful walks straight out on to the moor. Great hot shower. Perfect for a romantic break. Definitely recommend it.

Jackdaw Lodge
Loved our stay here. Hired two of the properties for us and family with our 4 dogs. Dogs very safe in the garden. Lots of lovely farm animals. Gorgeous walks as we were right on exmoor. Really good WiFi reception. Beautiful views.

We took the decision to book this place with very little notice - a spontaneous trip to the seaside after a busy few weeks and tempted by good weather. We really weren't disappointed. This is a lovely little hideaway, very cosy and comfortable, just a short drive up the steep hill from Lynmouth. Exactly as described with a little kitchenette and fridge to prepare a morning cuppa. The outdoor shower was private, tidy and powerful. We could sit and admire the views down towards the estuary. Plenty of animals nearby - at least three friendly dogs said Hello and there were horses in an adjacent field. Couldn't have asked for more and we only wish we'd been able to stay longer. Pauline was friendly and welcoming. Many thanks for putting us up at such short notice.

Swallow Cottage
Four generations of my family stayed at High Bullen Farm, spread out between Jackdaw Lodge, Swift and Swallow cottages with 5 dogs, for a week over the half term.
All three properties were perfect for our needs and Pauline couldn't have been more friendly or helpful.
The pigs were there to greet us when we arrived, making us laugh as they came running over.
The beds were comfortable and the cottages well equipped, even with washing machines and in Jackdaw a dishwasher!
All properties were very dog friendly and our five had a fabulous holiday...they are sad to be home.
The setting is so peaceful and relaxing. Walk out of the farm turn right and you are on the moors with the ponies and skylarks.
If you feel the need to venture out it is a 10 minute drive to Lynton, with the steepest water powered train down the cliff, where you can enjoy an ice-cream while sitting by the stream or sea. Or take a drive up the coast to the beautiful sandy beaches for a day of castle building.
A thoroughly enjoyable holiday had by all!

I don’t usually gush but I will about my stay with Pauline and Douglas; this has hands down been one of the nicest place at I’ve stayed at in the UK. The farm itself is incredibly, friendly dogs, horses and PIGS. I personally love a farm yard animal, but these guys (Piggly & Wiggly) were so sweet and cuddly I couldn’t believe it. Also the wild horses that came to visit the farm at night whe amazing; never thought I’d see that so close. The facilities were well maintained, clean and on top of the expected standards for this type of accommodation. Additionally Pauline was ever so approachable for any questions or just a chat if you fancied it.. Location is perfect where you get absolute chill time and silence whilst on the farm but it’s short drive to Lynton where they have such nice coffee places, pubs, ice cream parlours and cocktail bars. Valley of Rocks is a stones throw away and has the most amazing views, and Porlock Bay is amazing (visit the Oyster Bar there) Recommended!

Absolutely wonderful little hut in a gorgeous location. Pauline and Doug were the perfect hosts and the hut was cosy and well equipped. I stayed one night with my 7 & 9 year old daughters who loved toasting marshmallows in the fire pit and meeting the farm animals. The hot shower in the morning was bliss! Only sorry we couldn’t stay longer, but will definitely be back - thank you!

Oscar the whippet and I loved it. The peace and quiet, letting Osky out to roam far from any roads, the space. A perfect place to get away from it all. I'll definitely be going back! Pauline and Doug were very helpful. See you soon!
